A Bit About Cheryl
Secretary & Treasurer
Cheryl joined Pelsall Villa Colts Football Club in 2019 when her son joined one of the teams.
As time progressed, she became more and more involved with team clerical duties, generally assisting the players, parents and manager and undertaking many administrative tasks including official paperwork and also keeping the team finances in order.

In May 2022 following the retirement of the current Team Manager, Cheryl and her husband Wayne undertook the running of the Under 15 Lions Team in its entirety and Wayne became the Team Manager. The team has continued to progress since then.
​
In January 2022 Cheryl became heavily involved with the organisation of the clubs annual Two-Day Festival of Football, and was soon asked if she would like to become the Administration Officer for the club as a whole. She subsequently joined the Management Committee whilst still involved with her duties within the Under 15 Lions team and also her "Proper Job", her demanding professional career.
Her talents were recognised by Vice Chairman at the time, Andrew Bond, who quickly realised that Cheryl's remarkable ability for Data Proceessing and Administration would provide a massive input to the running and presenting of the Annual Festival which, largely due to Cheryls tremendous efforts, turned out to be an unrivalled success, resulting in a phenominal boost to the Clubs financial situation for the coming 2022/23 football season.

Concurrent to all this, Cheryl has contunued to amass considerable knowledge regarding all things Grassroots Football Orientated. Items such as Health & Safety Issues, Child Safeguarding, and in particular the FA Whole Game System which sadly continues to create horrendous problems for Players, Managers and Committee Members alike.
​
It very soon became abundantly clear to all Committee Members that Cheryl is eminently suited to undertake the role of Club Secretary/Treasurer and Pelsall Villa Colts FC wishes to warmly and whole heartedly welcome her in this capacity.
