Villa Colts FC was founded in 1978 as Pelsall
United by a local policeman, Lou Evans
with a view to getting local youngsters off the streets.
The Club currently has 19 teams, ranging from the age
of under 6 (The Academy) through to under the Open Age
and Veterans. Pelsall United became Pelsall Villa Colts
FC in 1991 and the youth team of the day was the first
to play under floodlights at the Bush Ground, at the
rear of the Bush Public House on Pelsall Common.
Coleman who operated our Junior
Academy retired at the end of this
season, hence the Club has engsged EVOLVED FOOTBAL
LTD to take Marks place.
Dutton has undertaken the role of Ladies section
Coordinator and Gareth Lapworth is
the newly appointed Covid-19 Officer.
Chairman of the day Darren Hodgkiss succeeded Steve
Rochelle who had been involved with the Club for 24
years, as a committee member, vice chairman and finally
Recently retired John Coleman, Vice
Chairman has been involved with the Club for twenty
eight years. John has now been succeeded by Andrew
Treasurer Alan Kent has been with the
Club for the same number of years. Gareth Lloyd,
(succeded by Chris Edwards who as now
been replaced by Graham Shemmans) was
appointed Club Secretary in July 2009 as successor to
Steve Coyne who, as well as managing two teams, produced
and published the Clubs' first Website, drafted the
Club Constitution and was instrumental in obtaining
FA Charter Development status for Pelsall Villa Colts
Pelsall Villa Colts FC Currently has a multi-team Academy
and young adult football club operating in The
Gambia, in West Africa.
FOOTBALL LTD IS PRESENTLY RUNNING OUR JUNIOR
ACADEMY - SESSIONS FROM 9.00-10.00 PM ON SATURDAY MORNINGS
AT MANOR FARM COMMUNITY CENTRE.

Pelsall Villa AFC despite the name similarity.
